ALT vs Caption (important):
- ALT = describe the image for a screen-reader + add page context (include keyword if natural).
- Caption = explain the point of the image for the reader (e.g., βBenchmark chart comparing CPC by network in AU FY25β).
- Title = short human label (βAU CPC Benchmark FY25β).
Step-by-step
- Open ALT Master Sheet β sort by status/priority.
- For each row: open the target URL in Webflow β locate image.
- Paste ALT from the sheet; humanise if needed (clarity, 1β2 keywords, β€ ~250 chars).
- Add Image Title (short, clear).
- Add Feed Caption (one short sentence explaining why itβs used).
- Save & log: URL, image filename, ALT (shortened), date in the ALT Fix Log.
QA
- [ ] ALT is descriptive + contextual; no keyword lists.
- [ ] Caption explains the purpose of the image.
- [ ] Title present (short).
